The home buying journey, when it is experienced rather than just managed, has a particular quality to it. Each stage is not just a logistical milestone. It is a chapter in the unfolding story of finding something that genuinely fits the life you are trying to live.

Understanding the structure of that journey, what comes when and what each stage requires of you, allows you to be present to the experience rather than simply reactive to it.

These are the questions worth sitting with before the search begins. The more clearly you can answer them, the more productively the search can proceed. This is always my first conversation with a new buyer.

A great agent helps you construct an offer that reflects both the market reality and the full picture of what you are bringing to the table as a buyer.
